A reliable solution for the connection and testing of equipotential bonding

The Conductor Hub is a unique device that is compatible with the legislation for equipotential bonding in swimming pool, spa or domestic and commercial construction. It is an accessible bonding connection point where a contractor can safely test for potential electrical leakage. It ensures compliance with all of the requirements of AS/NZS3000:2018 (Wiring Rules) and safety for the end user.

Safe and easy to install and use, the Conductor Hub enables contractors to test for equipotential bonding, giving the peace of mind to the consumer that their swimming pool, home or commercial property is safe.

What is Equipotential Bonding and why is it so important to your Safety?

Equipotential bonding is the act of bonding all the metal components in an area together to create substantially the same electrical potential, so that, under fault conditions, the difference in potential between simultaneously accessible exposed and extraneous conductive parts will not cause electric shock.

In a swimming pool or spa environment, these components could include the reinforcing steel shell of the swimming pool, the steel within a deck or under tiling, the metal pool fencing or spigots, any metal lights, windows, downpipes, ladders etc that are within arm’s reach (1.25m) of the pool/spa’s edge.

In a domestic or commercial environment, this would include the re-enforcing steel in the concrete slab or wall.

AS/NZS 3000:2018 Compliance

The Conductor Hub is a reliable solution that significantly lowers the risk of harm caused by electrical leakage. The device provides a visible, accessible bonding connection point. This allows contractors to easily and confidently certify that an area has been sufficiently grounded and ensure compliance with AS/NZS 3000:2018 legislation without delaying construction.
